Geoff, both groupsets are of equal quality but use different shifting methods. If you are used to Shimano then you'd probably fair better with the Ultegra which is a very good offering and second to Dura ace only in terms of weight. The SRAM shifti…

Geoff, here's a concise list of groupset hierarchies. Just scroll down a tad to the List of Groupsets.

I'm aiming to ride this again Martin, getting time off permitting.

Is this on?

I'd like to have a bash Tim.

Bravo Theo, thought you attacked way too early but still a great result. Really pleased for you!

Stef, pleasure.

Great Picture Tim. Tell me, what model of Brompton is that then?

Geoff hint taken - 5 out for a Trahern mystery tour around Essex and south of Cambridge. A very interesting route that covered some virgin soil for most of us I think. Got a bit feisty at Fulbourn when Iain got the red mist and attempted to chase dow…

Such kind words Daniel, unfortunately to reinforce your comments,it rather feels that it is only my lungs that are on fire at the moment! A strong showing from CCA, even the commentator called us 'a very active club', although Daniel and I agreed thi…

Inspiring stuff Tim, very inspiring. Good Luck in the Vets race.

Geoff, I'm confused, when do Thursday grass track evenings start? This Thursday (28th) or next (5th)?
-
Yes Daniel, tend to agree. To be doing those kind of speeds (notwithstanding false times/wrong route/cheating etc.etc.) you would be good enough to ride at Pro level! I'm not sure Pros ride the London Phoenix Easter Classic, or we'd have heard about…
