Thanks to all the helpers tonight. Hot and windy. Think that's a PB for me, so quite pleased with that. Standard is ever improving!
-
Handicap winner! That was a bonus. Looking forward to another outing next week. Thanks to James, Jackie, Travis and Malcolm for timekeeping and marshalling. Thanks to Robert for the push off (but can I have a bigger push next week?). Cheers Peter
-
Cheers David and all for a good ride. Kept it nice and tidy except on the "virtual Emma's" Nathan looking strong on his new steed Good to have a catch up at the Tuns too. Good sprint, and on your old bike too!

Ohh, might be moving up after today!

James - I can help too. Can I suggest that we make the doodle a sticky / announcement. Cheers Peter

Entered. Looking good for a top 10 finish!

Thanks all. Good group out tonight. Managed to hang on for 2 and a bit laps thanks to a few (well lots) missed turns and some wheel sucking glue. Then watched Martin, Vince and Nat disappear into the distance on a 3 man TTT as Stef and I slowly ro…

Weather held off. Nice night really. 4 out. Ran as TTT with me hanging on for a lap. Thanks for the ride chaps, that blew away some cobwebs. Looking forward to the stats from Martin. Should be out next week for a medio group (please)

I'll be there. But won't be up with recent pace so might just end up riding round on my tod anyway!

heavy rain has now passed Stevenage and sun is now shining. But for how long........

Interesting account in Cycling Weekly about a "Rogue in the Bunch" And he's a first cat!

Good group out today. Nice coffee at Rhubarb and nice stop at Bicicletta. Good pace back towards Royston where quite a few peeled off. Sprint into Ashwell well contested. Despite late effort by Dave and Jenny it was well won by Taff. I gave up! Thank…

See you then. Summer bikes for sure! Pre-ride coffee at Rhubarb.

Hi Andrew Would be happy to join but work commitments mean I'm not around until June 14th. Cheers Peter

I was down to help next week (25th May) but can't make it now.

8 out for a ride in the spring sunshine.
Over Croydon and onto Bourn then to Haslingfield where true to form for the 9-30 ride I managed to find a flooded road! Onto Newton and a little detour into Thriplow. Then back by Fowlmere and Bassingb… -
5 out, Robbie, Nathaniel, Martin H, Martin L and myself. Stats to follow from Martin.
When Robbie says it's sunny it doesn't mean it's warm. Big glove mistake by me. But strangely my fingers were warmer on lap 2.
Really smooth thanks guys… -
Will be there for a medio group!

Therein lies the challenge!

Rode back from the Shingay turn into Bassingbourn.
Most of the holes after South Farm have been filled.
The main problem, in my opinion, is the loss of the verge between the Black Barn and South Farm which makes the road narrow.
But… -
Well, I'm not sure about the speed bumps at Litlington. Cars heading into Litlington tend to straddle them to avoid going over them meaning they often end up across the white line. The road into Bassingbourn is also in bad shape.

Not out tomorrow
Going on Sunday instead -
Sorry I bailed. After my 1st puncture I realised that my rear tyre was in bad shape (rather embarrassingly!)
Thanks Tim for the gas and DaveN for the extra tube.
Saw Bob and DaveN back at home. Heard there were a few more flint incidents -
Surely you mean Spring Bike!
-
Sorry, not going to make it - full of cold.
-
Fin, no problem.
Sorry that you were struggling at bit but Steve said you'd roll back in from Potton at your own speed.
Good group out today. Thanks for a great ride.
