The Domane is an excellent bike. Great support from Trek. Have you considered the new Trek Checkpoint? Very much like the Domane but bigger tyre clearance and flexibility to attach a rack and luggage.

It is all my own fault but I am now overcommitted and so cannot come on this ride. Sad not to be coming. Best wishes to those riding. Daniel

Pleased you are coming Phil.I am sure there will be a spread of pace and their will be others sharing your trajectory.

Phil, it is late February...

Great initiative Jenny. This is, as you point out, very important and significant. Sadly, as far as I am concerned, I am not in the country at this time. If things change I will let you know.

Travelling to the CX World Championships was a simply excellent way to end the season. Not only spending time with CCA CX riders but also other friends from the Eastern League and beyond. A real celebration of the sport. The racing was incredible…

Sounds fun, however I am in Valkenburg!

Apologies for missing Logan's medal. There is some sort of "law" that when I list results I miss one ( or some). Well done Logan.

Great final race in the season at Milton Country Park in Cambridge. A new venue and a challenging but satisfying course. Great job from Cambridge Youth Cycling promoting their first CX event for the Eastern League. Good to see Vince and Martin (H…

Yeah, good day. I've e-mailed a photo to Tim...

No worries Phil!

A very delightful part of racing CX in the Eastern League is being part of such an exceptional team. Winning the Team prize is shining stone on this, but the crown is the team. Training sessions, which are not a list of instruction but a real coll…

I will join this if Phil does!

A year or two ago I tried to create a mud library. The idea was to have a sample from key cyclocross courses in a glass display case with notes for each sample, such as riding characteristics when wet and dry. I had quite a few cubes including Mil…

Great work Dan, thanks for these links.

Congratulations Sophie. You are a loyal and respected member of the club and your achievements are significant. It is quite natural that you should wish to develop in your sport in a more professional environment. Please forgive us for continuing to…

I think Richard is refering to the more important French race.

Hi WIll, Thanks for agreeing to organise this. I am, of course, willing help. BC have it in their calander as April 8th, not May. Hope your Christmas has been very good indeed.

"Santa Clause is coming to town"

Yes, that's mine and I am in touch with the organiser. Thanks guys.

Hey! Lay off Santa.

One of the many delights of cyclocross is the great variation in courses. Inevitably this means people end up having favourites - mine is Hempton. I arrived today to be greeted by a worried looking Hadsley “There’s no run up, they’ve had to cut it…

Indeed, many thanks to Max for his most interesting talk. Thanks too to Martin for organizing it all, although I am a bit disappointed by the conspicuous absence of round, friable, salted crackers with a serrated perimeter. Max and Sandra seemed…

...or should we ride the Dec 17th event in the Open race as a team?
-
Good to make a decision on this. It will never suit everyone. I'll book my place...

I was quite happy with 'the extra lap'. Hard race for sure. I think it was improved from last year and I agree with Dave it is a good course. I need to learn some more braverly from Nathan and Archie. Off to Shuttleworth today for the Central Le…

Still showing 80 places this morning. However it seems to be accepting breakfast entries.
