might be tempted this year, after 3 years in a row I skipped 2013 but need to feel the pain and agony of whiteleaf again...

if you prefer to pay by cheque, then you can bring a cheque along to the club night at the Tunns Tuesday, I'll be there to collect them

I'm up for 2014. I have to go back, as I missed that bar where you have to give them your shoe... Given today's blue skies and light winds I could contemplate cycling over... but the Eurostar was very civilised

The dinner is now confirmed for Saturday 1st February, other details as above. Apologies for any inconvenience.

We are thinking of moving the date of the dinner by a week because of a clash with another Ashwell event, just waiting to hear from the venue. Hold off booking any more places for now - sorry for any inconvenience - will confirm definite date shortly…

i think thats a good idea. i had a look round the garage but only had a small child's bike that their website says they are not interested in. most people are probably in a similar position. would be happy to make a small donation as you suggest.

Hi Gwen, I think registration opens tomorrow. I dont know how it is working this year, in previous years only French residents have been allowed to enter directly, overseas entries have had to be via an agent or partner company. The list of partners…

If they are prepared to offer a 10 % discount to CCA members that would be much appreciated. Not sure how they want to police this though? We don't issue membership cards. If they want to discuss best thing would be an email to info@ccashwell.com and…

Route is announced, leaves Cambridge on Trumpington Rd heading this way but then goes through Shelford and tracks M11 down towards Essex. Cambridge route Anyone manage to make it down to the launch?
-
You could do an extended Wednesday club run, maybe ride out to somewhere like burwash manor barns for a coffee then into Cambridge for the above, then home? Not sure I can make it unfortunately.

Well done all, especially Theo and Tom. Thought I heard someone say it was a course record? So we won 2 of the 4 tt's this year with our event cancelled. 2nd and 3rd in the other two. 2nd overall.... got to go for one better next year surely?

Beginner ride - Andrew r was going to take a ride but can't due to illness. Neither Jane or I can either. So at the moment no-one to take the ride tomorrow - any volunteers?

Just bringing this back to the top as mentioned it to a few people last night at club night. Key details: Distance: Just over 52 miles (85 Kms) Climbing: approx. 3300 feet (1100 Metres) Never more than 15 miles from HQ As Martin says we did it a few…

No hassle at all. You can do that. I'll give it a go also. Last year's winner climbed it in 2 mins 33, and most people came in under 4 mins.
