Matt, no problem, me or Tim. Think you ride Saturdays? I'll be there Sat a.m. as leading the intro ride. If not doesnt matter... ride the hill climb end Sept and bring it then.. its just like the 10 but shorter and uphill!
-
Well done Shaun - fantastic. Your challenge tonight is to find the Annecy equivalent of the Dounreay Social Club...
-
yes agree excellent ride, thanks for organising and the route Mark, and Christine for the lunch stop.
-
Lindsey - that would be great, thanks
-
Epic stuff Shaun, battling heat and illness on top of the climbing - well done, amazing effort.
Enjoy the Southern Alpes and Nice. -
I can do it Tim.

when i went to my doctor with heart rate concerns whilst cycling, he told me to throw my HRM away and just enjoy riding my bike....
i havent ditched it yet, but i think he might be on to something! -
i agree with Dave J - the one two over from coombe hill. from sandon turn left but then dont take the right to kelshall, instead carry on down towards the 505. from the 505 coming back theres a short descent then a surprisingly tough climb all the wa…

Great news, congratulations!
So that prediction in the Lancaster premier inn that he would be early didnt quite work out...
Still being born on the day Millar wins the stage and with Brad in yellow and Frome second - wow! -
these are absolutely brilliant (apart from the last one which is rubbish)
-
Adam, just spoken to MC as he picked up his bike just after you.
Shrewsbury/Lancaster is the day his mate came to take photos in the morning so he has around 80 pictures from that day - hopefully he can send over to you. -
brilliant. its mostly been said already and as MC says so many stories...
so much laughter, so many great miles, on great roads, with fantastic scenery. thanks to all 12 for contributing to a great adventure.
but especially thanks … -
That's fantastic, well done from all lejoggers, that's cheered us right up, which is impressive given we already chipper from two great days riding! great stuff.

Oops - Thanks Robert for pushing off and timekeeping, - Not Roger, my mistake sorry.
-
Echo those comments Tim - go for it - you'll really enjoy it (when its over!)
-
Mark - great many thanks
-
Bryan - thanks. Susan - yes that would be great thanks. Taking one of these rides actually requires little more than knowing where you are going and being happy to talk to people! "Lead" is probably a misleading word. So yes thank you again, please …
-
Apologies, no-one was there to take an intro ride on Sat 2nd June. Bryan are you still OK for 7 july? Any volunteers for August 4th / September 1st / October 6th please?

here here. great route, cafe stops, company. thanks shaun. well done all.
-
I wish it had been me, but it wasnt!

Sorry to hear that Will. And really bad luck to get back from hospital just after the Giro has finished and a month before the Tour starts! Still you have the Dauphine next week if you are still off work. Best of luck with the recovery.

David sums it up best... very hilly, very hot. Weather made this a much bigger challenge than in previous years, most times were well down on last year. Pete and I opted for a steady ride enjoying the views, it is a stunning route. 1 chain off and 1…

-
Lost track of who is actually riding the Gran Fondo this year. Last year we set off at 8 I think. If not many of us doing it I am inclined to join the 09:00 Medio start and ride the first part together until the split. Anyone else riding the Grand F…

the commissaire wrote down most of the numbers in the lead group coming up final hill and definately got your number Lee, not sure what he does with the info at a guess i'd say you were 35th!
