Change of plan from me, I'm afraid: I'll be racing the following day so the full ride seems a bad idea. I'll just come for the first hour or so.
-
I'd definitely be up for this!
-
I hope to join you too, need to be back in Ashwell by 12 so sounds like just the thing
-
Hoping to join you tomorrow morning
-
Thanks for organising, it was great fun. Dad had a go at taking a few photos but insists it's harder than it looks so there were few worth sharing
-
Just whispered you about the Raleigh James...it's not for me personally, before anyone asks. Thanks, Bryn

I've just put my name down on the assumption that it's not too late to do so. (Will bring my own bike) Thanks again Jane for pointing this out to me this morning.

Thanks Mark for organising a great event. Also thank you to everyone else who was involved in planning or running the day. I think we did CCA proud. The CCA only race was great fun to be a part of. Good to see some new faces giving cross a try. I th…

I echo the comments that the course was hard, and probably even better than previous years thanks to the various updates the organisers made. The tight wooded section mid-way up the climb that made you completely drop your speed was especially tough.…

Thanks for the offer Alistair but I am looking for something that will mean as little disassembly as possible.

Happy to help out for all the time that I'm not racing, so put my name down where ever I am needed. Dad can also help out all day. Bryn

Big thanks to Mark for organising and Stevie for being soigneur (I realise I left my Velo bottle in the van, are you okay to hang onto it until Tuesday?) When I swung off at Wrestlingworth a couple of hours in to save my legs for today I think there…

I'll be looking for some miles on Monday morning so hoping to join you

Great ride Ant! There's nothing cooler than winning solo

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. Writing the article, after Mark approached me, was both enjoyable and thought provoking. I hope it is vaguely interesting or even useful to someone somewhere. Jane - yes, thank you, I got the grades required to…

Is anybody thinking of going over to the grass track tomorrow morning?
-
A massive thank you to Geoff and Anne for their generous hospitality in their idyllic home! It was clear that everyone staying there had an amazing time, it was such a special experience just to be there and see the race pass over Grinton Moor. A ro…

Dad and I also rode into Cambridge this morning. We got there about 9am and were surprised to find that it wasn't completely packed so got great spots at the front next to the ceremonial start line. We had a great view of all the riders milling aroun…

Team Brynlar Pro-Cycling is ready for action

Awesome performances there, CCA really asserting itself in the local TTing scene! I have no doubt that the curry was a significant factor in such a quick time, will have to get in touch with Cyclist about it

My track bike is one of Alf's frames in blue marble. I built it up this time last year and have been really pleased with it since, it has been great for both grass track and also racing at Welwyn (I just swap my wheels over). Alf is a great guy, he …

There was a good group of CCAers out in Letchworth, stood on the "UK's First Roundabout" to watch the race come past. It was brilliant to watch all of the best women in the world racing on the roads we ride so often in training. Nice to see Emma Poo…

I've been really looking forward to getting back on the grass track again! So is this Saturday just a normal session rather than a beginner's one?
-
What a great experience this must have been, sounds brutal! Well done you three plus the supporter and soigneurs
-
I've already decided not to travel tonight, based on the weather. Will be there in future weeks though
-
Well done everyone that rode today, yet more quality results for CCA Great job Dan, really impressive stuff!
-
Neil, Luke and I all did the 34 last night. A few people tried attacks on the climb during the first half of the race (around the bowl only) but none stuck and it was all together quite calm. They opened the gate to the car park at half distance whic…

Change of plan, I'll be there tonight to do the 3/4. Hope to see some other CCA riders there too.

I'll be there

Hoping to get to some of these this year, won't be this week though
