Hmmm, weather not looking great for Sat. I will confirm tom if I'm riding or not. If I take the car, anyone want/need a lift?

Well, it turned out to be a tough race to predict! There was however a clear winner: CCAIAIN - Iain Foulkes took 1st place with a comfortable 900 points! Some big points names including Nibali, Kittel, Bardet and Van Garderen seemed to do the job! W…

Think I have 3 non scoring riders now. Should have picked 2 GC contenders! Machined it at work whilst I should have probably been doing something more important!

It's the half way point and I think Vam Polecat has been pretty much leading from the off! I guess most people will be suffering with a lack of points now Contador and Froome are both out. Still lots to play for including a shiny trophy for the winn…

Yep, Sounds good Tim. See you there. I'll bring some coffee and try and pick up some croissants!

Tim Are you still up for riding in Monday morning? I'm going ahead as planned, probably go slightly more direct towards Melbourn.
-
Plans are afoot for a trophy! I should have time next week to machine something up...
-
Thanks. As this is the week before the 100, think I'm going to try and add a few much needed miles to my schedule. Going to ride down to Ware, hop on train to Tottenham Hale and bike down to the Velopark. Anyone welcome to join me (25 miles each way…

Stef, is there a minimum time before the session we need to be there?
-
Bringing this back.... Any other takers riding from Royston? Is there anyone riding over to Cambridge from Ashwell way?
-
17 teams now entered. Feel free to join in....
-
Same also. Blue K 06:35. Just need to start training now!
-
Was thinking about utilising the temporary railings on Christ's Pieces or Queen's Green. Never actually ridden in to Cambridge, so happy to go with whatever will be easier. The busway would probably be better and obviously traffic light free!

Thanks to Peter and Susan et al. for helping. MIght give pedalling with two legs a try next week!

Just found this snippet on Cambridge CTC "Stage 3 of the Tour de France departs from Parker's Piece on Monday 7th July. Details of planned road closures in Cambridge can be found here. We're told that you won't be able to cycle along any of the clos…

Just had a rather uninformed response from Cambridge.gov saying that the normal bike parks at Park St and Grand Arcade will be open as usual!! That's a total of 400 spaces. I sincerely hope Cambridge are doing more than this?? The bike park in Harro…
