That is an insane time! Well done Nigel

Thanks for the above info Geoff. Yes, I thought the youngsters did extremely well today. Some future talent maybe!

Lovely morning for a ride! An extremely good turn out on the intro ride and 12 of us headed north towards Potton, Cockayne Hatley, Wrestlingworth, Mordens and back to the Tuns with 23 miles on the clock at 13mph. Many new faces and some young ones …

Hello Andrew I'm currently looking for something to replace my midweek ride over winter. Will this be indoors / what clothing would be suitable? Also, how much is a session? Thanks
-
Photos look great. Thanks for snapping

Thanks Tim for organising a great climb. Well done to all, some great times there. Enjoyed my first, will be back for more next year.

Has anybody got a route in mind for a ride after. Hoping to stay and ride but depends on route / length
-
Surely more weight = more traction? If it's damp, it could be a disadvantage to us lightweights! ETA I'll be slow whatever the circumstances!
-
Seven of us headed out in the same direction as the larger group out to the other side of Hitchin. After the big hill before Preston (Young Fynn started his King of the Mountains campaign here!) we continued straight towards Old Knebworth, Knebworth,…

Peter There will be another intro/basic club ride next Saturday (15th) lead by Paul Wylie for anybody wanting something a bit shorter than the normal club run.
-
I'm happy to beat a path back from Preston. My birthday Saturday so can't be too late home. Route as Paul mentioned above... http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/133189181 Looks like the split is at the top of the Super Category!

I've put one date up, I'll add more when I've harmonised diaries with Mrs S Good idea to top & tail, John.

Great, sounds like the wheels are in motion. I''ll keep an eye out for the doodle and look to help out when I can.

Great, will be there sat. Thanks again

Bloody cramp, not that I need excuses! Plenty of room for improvement next year. Stef, please let me know who I owe, yourself or Tim. Feel a bit of an idiot not turning up with the reddies. Thank you Stef and Lindsey for a great job tonight.

Think I might make this last TT my first! Should serve as a good marker of how cruel winter is to me.... If It is possible for me to get slower! Just hope the rain passes in time
-
Would also be interested in doing this, but coming driving home from holiday that day.
-
Wow, that looks amazing. Great value too. One day maybe when children have grown up!

Hi Mark I'm thinking about giving this a go, mainly to assist with my winter fitness and help my road cycling. However, I have never done any Cyclo-Cross before. Is the session open to all abilities and experience? Thanks
-
Echo the comments, great ride with great weather. Think my legs were giving up a bit on the hill into Barkway. More training required! Thanks David for your directional calls... even the late ones!
-
Nicely done. If I wasn't so tight for time I would tag along. Let's hope the colour yellow continues for wiggo .
-
Just out interest, whats your intended train route? Was originally going to train it but could find a way to get there in time as I'm working in the morning. Think I'll drive to weybridge and train to esher .

Anybody still turning up as usual ?
-
Great turn out. Hoping to make one of these before the season is out. Might grow some 'burns first though
-
Thanks guys, that's reassuring to know. Didn't want to be upsetting the usual routine, being new to this club riding lark. See you on the next one

Is 18mph the norm for the Saturday run? I'm a bit concerned I might be out of my depth and would have probably died had I not gone with Richard at Tempsford. Think we ended up with 39 miles @ 16.6
