More brilliance from Jackie and James, awesome! although James you seem to have had time to wave and smile for the camera. reckon you lost a few aeros there.
-
Just a reminder that the re-scheduled AGM is tomorrow at 8.00 in the Tuns. Agenda the same as above see you there.
-
cant make this one im afraid. Shame as we enjoyed the cx tandem.
-
Yeah, i think in the beginning when we had some club sessions we managed to get out of doing level one. However, my understanding is that that has all changed and everyone has to start at level one now.
-
Jeremy is bang on. The marshal is only there to be visible and show direction. We have all done the waving through thing including me but i think we shouldnt. ....."what we need is for riders to approach the junction expecting to stop rather than mai…
-
Hi Matt, I had an email from the organiser of the E34 to say no details yet of marshalling requirements but he's working on it. I'll let you know when I have more info.
-
Sorry everyone but due to unforeseen circumstances we need to move the AGM to Tuesday the 4th July. Format will be the same.
-
The AGM will be at the Tuns on Tuesday at 8.00. Agenda 1. election and re-election of officials. 2. officers reports. treasurer, kit, youth, forum, TT, smallgains, membership. 3. open floor 4. any other business. Hope to see you there.

think we had 9 riders for our out-of-kilter tuesday grass, including not one but two golden crockets! Lovely night and a good mix of stuff, devil, block handicap, team sprint (Alfie, Shelton, Dave W the winners) longest lap, some start practice and a…

-
Looking a bit iffy at the moment, ill give it half an hour then make a descision but not to late to head to Stevenage. Tom, hope the man flu isnt too harsh!
-
Thanks Mark, enjoyed that....well apart from the Tadlow section with the "horse cobbles". The tandem was pretty good really, a little bit of a handful on some of the technical rutted bits but me stoker was pretty classy although he was complaining of…

-
Wow, cracking ride Chris and i now fully understand why i found it a tad tricky getting back onto the chaingang after the Potter surge!
-
Yes, if there are 2 groups the faster has to go off first otherwise, apart from the chaos of the faster group going past, the slower group will try and latch on and you are back to one group. Also, as Vince says, if you go too far into the red doing …
-
Firstly, the group was too big, remember 12/14 is in our club and BC guidelines as a maximum size so maybe if there are that many out we should start with 2 groups. I thought it was all very steady to start with but the "Potter surge" did split the w…

Yes, great work Stef. Getting up the Hardknott on its own is quite a challenge let alone the rest of it! That doesnt look like the same Lake District that i remember though, whats all the blue stuff?
-
Great night down at the turfodrome. 14 riders and we managed Scratch, Hare n Hounds, Trains and Station, 1 lap TT's, devil and a Bristow Devil! Dave, Jenny and Dan all looking super comfortable. Great stuff. Just needs to be a bit warmer.
-
Will do, looks flippin cold again!
-
Great, you two will be awesome! Bikes yes.
-
Hi Adam, good to hear you are getting back on the road. Can you post a pic? If it was steel it almost certainly wouldnt be a problem. Ally frames though are more prone to getting cracks from a dink, more kind of brittle. Having said that if its small…

yes, quite a lively finish, tail wind i guess made it quick. enjoyed that a lot and sorry i didnt do too much. seemed quite tidy considering such a big group...12 or so?
