Absolutely brilliant, all of you, very well done! Love the photo of Jenny practicing her off-bike race-visualisation technique. And isn't that Dave Norris sneaking a cheeky 3rd place on the TT podium?
-
I'd like to join the ride as well, if it's not too late. Tim A

You could try Richard Lowden at the Royston Complementary Health Centre - I've not used him but he does have a regular column/advert in the local Listing so seems to know what he's doing: http://www.rchc.co.uk/sports-massage.php Or Sally Rabbetts, w…

I can help out.

Good ride today: bright sun, dry roads, could almost have been summer - except for the odd patch of ice, bitter east wind and 15 layers of clothing!
-
Actually you can just about squeeze through the Reed-Therfield closure on a bike, I went that way last week. But there was a lot of debris on the road so it is a bit messy.
-
Yes that was a hard-fought 40-odd miles, the last stretch from Bassingbourn to Royston for me was not pleasant at all! Next week David can we have a ride of just the one half please?
-
Yes a good ride today, thanks, good to get back into the routine after the Christmas break - got a few extra kilos to burn off! Hats off to Taff as well for doing most of the work on the front with a cold.
-
Jolly good, I shall bring some festive treats for the mid-ride break!
-
Wow, radical departure from the norm, dude...yes I'm in too!
-
Matt - would like to join you if poss, what time you leaving Royston? Maybe meet at the Heath sports centre if you're going that way? Tim

Sounds good David, yes the forecast for tomorrow looks very good. I'll download the route. Anyone for a coffee stop at Bicicletta if its not too busy...?
-
Very well done Stiggers! And a fascinating insight into the mysterious world of triathlon - never realised make-up was so critical...so many questions...
-
Yes I can heartily recommend the rare beef & horseradish sandwich! And the chips are pretty good too...
-
I'm happy with either, but would probably choose the Grafham one as I think I missed that the first time you did it. But as I say, don't mind!
-
James - can you provide the HQ location please, I've not been to this course before. Thanks!
-
James - I can help.
-
Only realised I'd snapped you when I looked at the photos afterwards, you all went by so quick it was difficult to pick out individual riders, especially all in the same kit! Yes we had a good time the rest of the week thanks, so hot though. Hope yo…

Very well done Dave, to both you and Jenny, amazing effort just surviving in that heat! I managed to get one shot of you - more by luck than judgement - at the top of the climb into Castelnaud: Alas too late we realised the shorter loop didn't pa…

Wow exciting stuff!
-
Too wet for me I'm afraid, especially for a first attempt on a proper TT bike!
-
I plan to ride if it does improve, tipping it down right now in Cambridge.
-
Yeah looks like a complete deluge tomorrow, can't see this happening at the moment but fingers crossed, was really hoping to ride too!
-
Brilliant Jenny, very well done!
-
Ok so I'm planning on: Ashwell - Sandon - Buckland - Barkway - Great Chishill - long descent down New Road (!) - Fowlmere - Shepreth - Meldreth - Bassingbourn - Royston which is ~29 miles, gets me back home by 11.30 latest, nice. For those going b…

I'm around tomorrow but need to be back early, so will probably do a short-ish SE loop back round to Royston. Any welcome to join me.
-
And after that, embarking on the National 24 Hour Sleep Championship :-) Amazing, awesome, surreal and mad all at the same time - well done James.
-
Keep going James, you can do it!
-
Hi David yes we made it back thanks, I think it was mostly Steve pointing us in the right directions. Unfortunately we did get rather wet at the end, and both Brian and I punctured on the run in down Northfields - I knew we shouldn't have risked it!
-
James - I might be interested, need to see the measurements first. Might be too big for me... Tim
