2011 etapes and paris-roubaix announced
for anyone interested aso have announced there will be two etape-du-tours in 2011, details below, and also a new paris-roubaix challenge held on the 9th april 2011 which looks very interesting.. shame i'm skiing that week
the two etapes are
11/july, modane to alpe d'huez, taking in telegraphe and galibier, only 109 km so a sort of mini marmotte. this is stage 19 of the 2011 tour.
17/july , issoire to saint-flour, 208 km so quite long, very lumpy too though no famous ones, unless you include the infamous col de prat du bouc....
this is stage 9 of the tour. its in the massif central / auvergene region right in the middle
you can do one or the other, or there is a "stage" competition for anyone that enters both
