Weds club ride (as seen on TV) 3rd nov
ride reports seem to be rare these days, apart from by the sat 8/8:30 ride. anyway this one was worthy of mention, great turn out on a sunny and warm but windy autumn day. 12 or 13 out i think. rode west led by carmello to maulden/amphill back thru harlington and barton. i clocked 56 miles at 16.9 by the time i got home, guess about 47 to/from bob's. a tasty run back in from henlow that split the field.
guess the high turn out was partly people wanting to share the limelight now that the weds ride has had its first airing on tv. we're thinking of doing panto next with christmas round the corner.
