Welcome to the forum
Sunday Real Club Run 09.30 start
well still nice and cold in the morning so
09.30 start at the cementary
will be doing 2 hours again
so 30-35 miles at steady 16mph
still back for 11.30
of course those who want to start at 9am should do so
I understand all the other rides are
( the ones that had no one there last week :-) )
I assume they will post what they are doing
see you tomorrow perhaps
James
PS I will be starting 09.30 from now on

30 miles of rolling hills @ 16mph , 2 hours including bannana stop
the magnificant seven set off
looking virile and full of expectation
choosing the hilly option
( oh dear I am in trouble here ! )
headed south , first hour fun
last 30 mins started to get cold as the north wind picked up
( everyone kindly waits the top of each hill for me )
turned back onto our best sprint run in to lift the spirts
strappy , peter G , Mark C picking up the pace
( I must just hang on )
the 3 took it in turns with grace and power
( I must hang on ,... but look its the finish soon )
Mark kicks , peter G kicks
( I am still here , what if .... )
Peter takes the front , he hesitates , he does not know where the line is !
I fly a free spirt ( having not done any work )
the line is there
I am drunk on endorphines
the crowd cheers !
( my body says what are you playing at FOOL )
I sit up
The rest fly past
I catch up the 3 tunns for coffee
Good fun all round
Club dinner next week
So for the sunday club run
09.30 start if above zero
10.00 start if below
will be a flat 25 - 30 miles to get rid of the hang over
will post time on the saturday
its still worth it
honest
James

My fingers only started warming up after the sprint & climb back in to ashwell, my back felt ok so i must be on the mend at last !!!.
