Nasty ride Jan 30th 09:00

edited January 2011 in Club runs
An absolute text book winter club run. 'Allegro', that is to say fast but not break neck speed. We all stayed together and managed some well disciplined through-and-off towards the end. A great route, lumpy and with good quality roads; congratulations to Trahern for leading such a great ride. I did about 85 miles by the time I got home and compared to last week I was in reasonable shape; I could speak at least. 9 contented cyclists; Trahern, Carmelo, Iain, Strappy, Jez, Dave, Andre, Josh and myself.
Prego.

  • second that although it was my turn to puncture, the miles fly by doing through and off :) its almost a shame to start racing in march and to forget club runs until october!
  • Yes well done all... Sorry had to scoot at the end but had lunch guests waiting!...trust young Dave was ok
  • In a bid to keep up with you "nasties", it was a lonesome but rewarding 71miles. The highlight being a spectacular winter sunset. Hopefully be up for a group ride next sunday.
