Weds ride 23rd Feb (not rained off!)

3 of us braved the conditions today, Jez, Pete on his fixed and me. i clocked 46 miles at 16.2. out to reed, chishill, harston and back thru barrington, bourn and g.m... it was wet, cold and windy but we maintained a sense of humour. those lightweights that go out tomorrow just coz the weathers better may have a nicer ride but will they get the same sense of satisfaction we did when we finally dried out and warmed up?!

    Sorry Stef, Chairman Bob assured me that nobody went, well done, as Phil Adams once said 'there is no such thing as inappropriate weather, just inappropriate clothing', the rest of us ladies will be out tomorrow.

    there was indeed appropriate clothing for todays weather, but we'd have looked a bit silly in wetsuits..
