Hello All,

As none of us (apart from Mark B) did the routes I suggested last week we can try again with them this Saturday !

So we can either do this route:

    Five of us on Saturday morning for a ride of two halves - wet & very wet (none of which equated to the met office forecast of 'light showers') !!

    Would have been a cracking ride, through Gransden & Warsley in the sunshine - as it was it was just a damp slog !!

    Don't really remember much of the second half back to Ashwell as my contact lenses gave up in the rain so I couldn't really see, my shower proof jacket had given up any pretence of being rain proof several hours previously & my hands were just blocks of ice in gloves that were 5 times the weight of when we started.

    One to remember in the long hot days of summer ..........
