Ixworth Crits Bank Holiday Monday, May 2
Who's coming?
So far I know of Team Maynard, Theo, Cameron, Jon, Pete and myself. Note the Youth Event is part of the Eastern Region Road Youth Series.
You perhaps?
Ixworth Crits have a reputation as being a great day out. Run around the village of Ixworth the racing is said to be being exciting and fast. Details on the wonderful Britishcycling.org.uk

He stated that there was availability for entries on the line in all cats. including youth.
The forecast looks good, it should be a good day out.
Oliver and Cameron Wolsey, Daniel and Theo Doncaster, Jon Chapman and Pete Green were the CCA representatives. The maynards were there with a number of others rom Welwyn Wheelers.
I've no idea of any of the results and will post when I know more. In the meantime here are a few pictures of the day.

Great ride from Pete Green; he is on fire at the moment! Theo and Cameron did well in the U16, basically leading in the chase group and coming in 7 and 8. Jon rode a determined ride, but clearly being ill last week was showing on his form.
The results are already posted on the West Suffolk Wheelers web site, but the U16 results are totally wrong.
Daniel Maynard came third is the U14, a great ride from him.

A strong showing from CCA, even the commentator called us 'a very active club', although Daniel and I agreed this was probably because we were just shouting the loudest.
