Rider skills training - May 14
I have been most impressed by British Cycling's Regional School of Racing (RSR) sessions run for invited youth riders. These teach (amongst other things) bunch riding skills, cornering in a group, how to follow wheels and sprinting. They also give a taste of what it is to race. Vital skills for racing but also for effective club runs. I have looked on and thought I wish these training sessions were available to all adults and youth riders.
Well now this training is available to us all at CCA !!
Mark Wyer has organized a training session for Saturday May 14th at the legendary Redbridge Cycle Centre (Hog Hill). I encourage all riders, young and old, to attend this session to sharpen up your riding skills.
Safer. Faster.
More details are on a sticky post on the front page of the CCA Forum or contact Mark, markwyer at ntlworld.com

Pro rider Billy-Joe Whenman booked as expert rider. His palmares includes wins at the GP of London and Tour of the Dengie Marshes.
However I need more bookings for this to go ahead. If I don't have at least 10 booked in by Friday then I will have to cancel as it won't be worth the effort.
To help plan the session let me know your racing/cycling experience, usual club run group and what you want out of the session.
Mark.
This is a very, very good opportunity to learn and improve vital skills for what we do. I am astonished it is not oversubscribed!
