Me, Skelders and Phil K out this morning. I was quite frankly in bits having wrapped up at the AGM at 1am apparently! Brought back memories of Belgium.
Phil had clearly had his shredded wheat - or porridge - and hit the front a lot. We didn't waste any time on the flat. Yeh - it was raining at the start but very warm. The roads were slippy - following the long dry spell. Take care tomorrow everyone! We all got comedically muddy. I don't really know how. Particularly around the chalk pit at Anstey. All a bit Strade Bianche. Symbolic as the Giro started today of course.
Got really nice towards the end and decided to clip the route to have a cappuchino at Taste on Baldock high street in the sunsheeine. Cheers Phil. Just under 70 miles at just over 18mph
Great ride, great route, Phil 'the Power' Taylor Keen was like a machine!! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Some good flats & hurty hills but best of all the cappu at the end. :-)

Cheers Scouse. You spotted my deliberate mistake and win the CCA Observation Cup - presented tonight in the shape of a pint glass with booze inside.
74 miles - but note the flat stretches.
