It's been an eventful week.

Justa couple of ales in The Three Tuns, Ashwell tonight - Sunday. About 8.30pm

Well done racers and Primavera organizers today.

    Yeah great shot. thats me third from left, looking straight at Josh. Glad to see that Richard didn't get one of me going backwards, next time up the hill!!!

    I know its been said before but well done to everyone involved, esp Carmelo and Trahern, top event and great to see so many Aswell riders on the starting line. Hopefully it wont be too long before we start bothering the finish line judges. well done to all.

    Oh, and big thanks to Geoff in the car for "offering his encouragement" to get back on after I'd shot out the back. I tried I really did, but just didn't have it today! next time eh.

    many thanks to all the marshalls for helping out and making it such a great race today - their support for those of us at the back was also much appreciated! first time in a race for me and it was great fun - especially once I realised it was ok to ride on the other side of the road. my moment of glory of sitting at the front for about 2mins was shattered upon reaching cardington hill and literally going backwards after the second lap. should have listened to Tim (save your energy, save your energy).
    well done Josh - and the CCA boys.

    Really mean it...well done to all...I know we say it every year but we thank EVERYONE involved...This event simply could not happen without your help..from drivers to marshals...refreshments to programme compilation,judges to finances...it all has to come from the club and although we had some issues this year things worked out in the end...JUST!!
    Congratulations to Josh for getting up there but well done to ALL our riders for giving it a go...it was great seeing a stronger CC Ashwell presence.....that was the most strung out finish I've ever seen there and it looked really tough...hard luck to Mark C for puncturing so early and to riders with other problems.....plenty more races to go...!!

    We've made some more money for the club too so a job well done and the good name of the club continues to grow...
