CCA interclub 25m TT, Sun 10th July

edited May 2011 in Time Trial
Folks,

Its our turn to host a round of the interclub series on 10th July. This will be on the Guilden, Wendy circuit as last year. Starting at 8.00 am. HQ Guilden village hall.
This also incorporates the CCA 25 championship as well.

Firstly we need as many CCA riders to ride as possible to hold on to our second place or even push for 1st? But i need some help.

We need: 2 timekeepers, pusherer offer, signing on supervisor, at least 2 marshals, tea and cake person, and someone to keep bringing the results back to the village hall. There will probably be a couple of other things as well, oh and if anyone could donate a cake or 2, that would be most welcome, these early morning testers do like a cake!

the village hall will be open from 7.00am and there will be between 60 and 80 riders, so it will be over by 10.30.

Let me know if you can help, (please note: fast CCA riders are not allowed to offer to help in order to get out of riding)

Cheers
Tim.

  • The misses would be delighted I'm sure to make some of her world famous cup cakes!!!
  • Can slow riders get out of helping by entering the race?
  • can slow riders who think they are fast riders get out of helping AND racing?!
  • hahaha :-)
  • Mrs S has confirmed that she will run the 'Tea & Cake' stall if we have the facilities if you like? On the menu will be a selection of goodies - cup cakes, lemon drizzle, carrot & banana cake 8-)

Happy to stock a few other bits (cokes etc) as well.
  • Mrs S, that would be brilliant. Im going over to the village hall on the saturday evening so will check that they have all the facilities. Im led to believe that they have. I will bring tea, coffee, milk etc. Cakes sound great.

    Many thanks

    Tim.
  • tim

    strappy.
  • Need to check Camerons racing diary..
Nevertheless If you need Coca cola products I can supply..( Its the company that I work for .... !)
Let me know what you require...
  • I'll be riding hopefully ...
  • Hopefully I'll be a rider (If not I'll help)
  • I've signed up to ride our 25m TT Interclub on 10th July.

    Click here to do the same;

    Select 'Event 12'
  • Glad to see riders entering this, dont forget it is also our CCA 25 champs as well. Remember, you dont need to be fast to ride just look at the results of the 30.

Anyway, for those who definately dont want to ride, how about helping out? I would like to get some names next to some duties.

    So far ive got :

Setting up, signing on and finishing timekeeper....Me
    Kitchen....Mrs Skelders

    I need;

    3 Marshals
Starting timekeeper (pref. someone whos done it before)
    Pusher offer
1 or maybe 2 to ferry results from the finish to the village hall and get them up asap.

I think thats all, let me know if you can help. I have had offers of help from some of those who want to ride but i really dont want to have to reduce the number of CCA riders in the race, we so nearly beat Beds Road in the last one and it would be nice to win our home event.

    Cheers.
  • Horton Senior has volunteered as a marshal if helpful.

  • Ok. so after yesterday evenings wind battering, I did a loop of the 25 tt; apart from some small areas of worn road (no where near as bad as outside the pub on the 10) the road surface is in really good condition, not real pot holes to speak of and not much in the way of debris/gravel to mention....so all good.!!
