Derny Fest- Something different

This saturday at 12 o'clock the Welwyn wheelers Derny fest will start. Each rider in the race is paced by his own motorbike which rides in front of them. The action is fast just a little bit different to your usual bike racing. It is a demonstration of track finesse as it takes both strength to average the speeds of around 35 mph and skill to stay less than an inch away from the motorbikes wheel.

There is a stand for spectators and a bar in the sports centre. The event will be held at Gosling sports centre, on the cycling track.

I know Scouse Chris is interested and all are welcome to come and support.
