Ed Goater is ranked sixty four (64) with British Cycling and Eastern Region Track Champion.

Andrew Leverton is leading the National 800m Grass Track Championship as a 'Junior' amongst adults and World Champions!

Grass Track is not recognised by British Cycling, only BMX, Speedway, Cyclocross, Track and Road Racing are?!

It is fantastic that some of our youth section (plus the ex Ashwell 'Welwyn Wheeler' Maynards!) are riding road races and doing well but as we have our own Grass Track circuit we should be doing more?!!

Currently we can't even raise a 3 man Sprint Team

Any Adults, or Youth riders under can help ?!

Saturday is essentially YOUTH orientated...Sunday and Monday are more Junior and Senior riders.....there are NO team sprints this year.on the youth...ALL events are towards the omnium..a series of different races which accumulate to a points total.There are an enormous number of individual races and fun events throughout the 3 days of racing....CCA riders and parents really ought to go to undeerstand the scale of this longstanding event
All 3 days racing start at 12noon..be there early to sign on . Finish approximately 6pm latest.

CCA were well represented by U10.Sophie Lewis..U12 Anneka Goater and Richard Chennels.U16 Jon Chapman and Ed Goater..they all raced well and gave a good account of themselves in their respective age categories....we normally have more, but holidays took priority this year.
Hoping to see ALL of our young riders and some of you senior riders at our 1st September race this Thursday
