Hello All,

Looks like it could be a bit windy on Saturday, so a North/South route this week.

    A huge Saturday peleton yesterday of 17 riders on a windy but surprisingly warm & humid day.

    North/South route so a fantastic tailwind all the way up to Caxton via Sutton, Potton and Everton then more a side wind as we criss crossed our way back to Gransden, Waresely & Wrestlingworth. There had to be a payoff somewhere though so when we got to the wrestlingworth crossroads the headwind struck and it was an epic five mile slog back to Ashwell !!

    Thanks to Tom for route leading post Everton & Gavin for some sterling work on the front on his shiny new bike.

    Another fast one in the end 41 miles @ bang on 16mph average.

    Thanks David and the other 15 for an excellent ride - perhaps one of our best I would say....

    Dropping off at Potton probably gave me a more sheltered route back to Royston...

    Who was the guy on this ride Saturday who was looking for a pair of 10 x speed Campagnolo Wheels? Normally rides Sundays, rode the Wells ride, was wearing a bandana on Saturday, lives in Shefford..... I think..?
