HILL CLIMB DOPE SCANDAL!!

edited October 2011 in General
A Big thanks first of all to Tim and Lindsey F, for making today possible- weeeeyyy!

And hail to our new Club Hill Climb Champ...JEEEZZZZZ!

Hat's off too to that git from Welwyn, who smashed it!!

However, after a random WADA doping control after the event, the sport has once again been thrown into disarray and scandal...

The triumphant first 4 rode clean, although Josh (traces of vimto), Jason (traces of something yet to be proved illegal), Foulkesy (53+%), mostly Italian wine and cheese, and CLUB HILL CLIMB CHAMP JEZZZzzzzz (Rohipnohol, or whatever he nicks from his ambulance!) remain a question.

More serious, however, WADA INVESTIGATIONS read thus:

Martin 'Bjaarne Riis' Lawless- 60% level of schnapps, leiderhosen and a good 'Robbying' (guilty)

Stef (Armstrong) Dixon- 50%- subcutaneous, micro dosing of beer, wine and curry over last three days (minimum)- guilty

ScouseChris- a la Virenque- prolonged abuse of red wine. Although denied, having too much blood in his alcohol system may prove otherwise

And mad James D, who rode on a fixed, suggesting his pre-race 'fix' was more than a banana 'milk shake'

JEZZ- LEGEND FIRST SEASON- WE SALUTE YOU!!

its all true, but i'm going to setup a charity to launder my money and make me look like a hero, so its all ok really

great climb, great weather, thanks indeed to tim and lindsey and geoff pushing off, and those who came to watch,
these events are great and really appreciate the efforts of a few to make them happen.

good club run afterwards too, and a sociable pint in the tunns to finish, well have to keep the %%% ticking over just below 50...
  • Indeed, a good morning. Thanks to all those who supported the event today and a great standard of riding all round.

Whoever has the results sheet can you stick it on the forum?

And yes, great first season Jez.
  • It was my first hill climb competition and I enjoyed it. (No I didn't).

Thanks to Tim for the event organisation.

    Shaun
  • Put me to bed at 8.30 last night this one. Twas the Leffe Chris, the Leffe (mit nana) that did it.

I would like to volunteer NOW to assist with the running of the hill climb event. I will thoroughly enjoy it for sure.
