weather still putting people off, so just Carmelo and I today, dodging the flooding and slush. though we bumped into mark w near harlton going the opposite way round. did a similiar loop to sunday, out via gamlingay, bourn, eversdens to harlton, back thru newton, fowlmere, shepreth etc. 44 miles at around 16. a few roads were closed shepreth to barrington flooded, and barrington hill due ice. carmelo remembers racing around this time last year in shorts and summer shirt... 18 deg c in mid feb....

ah stef...but that was last year!!!!!!!!! you're in post global warming now........or is that pre-....or perhaps a new phase altogether.

I went out on wednesday night 33 miles...found a couple of roads with snow still on them. If things carry on as they are we may all have wednesdays free..
