IAN THE TRIATHLON MAN AND GARMIN USER, PLEASE HELP ME

Hello Ian, as discussed, any instructions you may have to help me plot courses on the Training Centre will be welcome. My email is anthony.pez@googlemail.com - This pm managed to transfer courses from 705 to training centre, but still hopelessly clueless about setting a course and sending it to the 705.

    this is what i do - as I say, I use a mac so not sure how differetn it would be on a pc.
    To transfer a course to Edge:
    Create course in Map my Ride, save ride to "my profile"; go to "my rides", wait for route to appear and go to "save ride"; save as a tcx file (on a mac it saves it to the desktop); open garmin training centre, go to "file", "import" (import tcx file from desktop). Ensure device is linked up, then synch with the device ("file", "send to device"). Find transferred course in "training", "courses" on the 705.
