ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL PUB NIGHT!
Just a quick note to say that the last two pub meets have been a great turn out, good fun & banter. My mobile shop proved a big hit with over £500 worth of orders taken, this is definately a good venue to 'try before you buy'. Also new faces meeting old hands to discuss rides, bikes and general cycling chit chat.
Hot topics last night:
up and coming sportives - who's doing what & where, Stuart mentioned a weekend in the Pyrenees late April, Tim D discussed his Marmotte adventure and of course the Cheshire Cat!
The nasties vs middle group, will they merge once the season starts
pre Sunday rides for those who want a little Xtra on a Sunday
and much much more
so I am pleased to say that after a stuttering start last year with Martin & I usually being the only turn outs, the initiative is really starting to work and all attending seem to be enjoying it. If you haven't tried it, come along next month!
next month will be Tuesday 5th and not forgetting that the venue is The Rose and Crown!
