Robbie, Carmello, James and Shaun ventured out in the cold but great to see the sun!
55m out round part of the GD. Bottom bracket virtually unscrewed all the way out, had to limp home the last couple of miles with a clanking noise. Might mean gears on Saturday.
You should give gears a try, Robbie. Maybe you'll like them.
Desperately cold first thing but not too bad once we were on our way. Quite a stiff easterly wind stopped it being comfortable, though. We did seem to wimp out a bit distance wise today... or were we protecting James?
Good fun on a crisp sunny day.
Good to see "nasties" is only a name with
getting a tow all the way around.
Jam putty was a welcome addition
Must say wimp was not a word that entered my mind,
did not argue when told only 13 miles for home :-)
A way to go before I pass the " robbie LEJOG " assessment I think !
really don't like the thought of jam putty James..I mean, if you put it on your bread eugh!!....if you use it on your windows the wasps will be a nightmare...mind you it ought to seal their mandibles.....
