Hello All,

Fingers crossed its not as stupidly windy as last week.............

Thought that we could do something a bit more lumpy, so a reverse of a favorite so we get to go down the big hill from Essex to the 505. Should be a flat'n'fast run to the finish too.

Route is 37 with station loop and 35 without. Consensus at Steeple as to which way we go.

    Spring madness for the Saturday ride yesterday with a couple of people turning up in shorts (in February!!!). We all set off together for a lumpy ride on the Cambs/Essex border. Pace started high & pretty much stayed there over all of the lumps and bumps up to Chishill and Heydon. This continued down over the other side and it was indeed a flat'n'fast finish through Shepreth, Meldreth & Bassingbourn. Only time we slowed down from warp speed was to pick up Gavin after his spectacular acrobatics catapulted him into the grass verge after clipping Declan's feet !

    Bit of a ragtag finish at the end to give us 35 miles @ just a shade under 16mph average. Tough but good ride on my winter steed might be time to dust off the summer one soon.....
