Welwyn Wheelers Good Friday 25 mile Hilly Time Trial - results
CCA represented by myself and Jason. A chilly start to say the least and a tough course on roads we know well.
Codicote, Hitchin, Offley, Lilley Bottom, Whitwell, Kimpton, Wheathampstead & back towards Codicote.
Lots of hills that hurt, especially from A505 into Offley... Ouch!!
Jason completed with an impressive 1:05 & myself with a 'better than last year' 1:12 , I believe the winner clearly took a short cut with an nextremly impressive 0:56 !!!! Holy moly!!
Great event, very well organised and well worth getting up early for.
Unfortunately for our second claimer Josh, he was suffering with illness and took a last minute decision not to compete 8-( get well soon mate!
