Cheers for the route Trahern. 10 out.

The first half hour went off at quite a lick and there was near mutiny at Chishill. Things got more cohesive as the hills faded and thru n' off kicked in to get to Waterbeach.

Jez and MC strong. Jez unable to get into the race he wanted today letting off steam. MC getting the miles in before going East for another stint.

Me, Ian and Steve peeled off at Hatley - I had to get back - sorry. Hope you all got back safely. 72m @ 18.5mph.

Thanks to Ellis for giving me a wheel to chase (cling on to!!) into Gamlingay, Potton and Wrestlingworth where we latched on to Jez and MC again (but we had taken a short cut!!)

Stats for me were 72miles avg 18.6

Infact a thanks to all on the ride for waiting for me, and jez for dragging me back to the pelton .
only to get droped again.

May be i should drop down to the club run,martin that felt like a nastie pace ride to me.
but the stats tell the story.

I peeled of at potton / gamlingay thru to langford finished on 85 miles @ 17.5.

Strappy: don't you dare go dropping down. You're far too good, keen and competitive. 85m @ 17.5mph on a cold day with sprinty bits and hills isn't exactly tootling and picking daffodils.

Yeh - a bit feisty at times. 'Hasty' as in 'Half Nasty', I'd say. Sounds like Lee was in the true nasty ride yesterday!

Cheers for the vote of confidance i just don't like holding you guys up when you could be
half way home.

I hope i was just having an off day, i will dig out the 4.7 & see how many daffodils i can collect on
the way round next week.
