Cambridge Duathlon - GB Team selection
Sunday was the Cambridge Duathlon 8km run, 40km bike and then another 8km run. It was the final selection race for the Great Britain Team for the World Duathlon Champs to be held in Nancy, France in September and I am glad to say that coming 3rd in my age group (60-64), the last year that I will be in this AG, saw me selected for the GB Team (the first 4 in each AG are selected) for the third consecutive year.
It certainly does not get any easier, but I would like to say a big thank you to Richard Glover who has helped me throughout the winter with my biking, as well as lending me a pair of go faster wheels - many thanks Rich.
So CCAshwell will be represented at the World Duathlon Championships - again!! Now for some LEJOG training!
