Saturday 20th April 9.30am ride
Hello All,
Here is the plan for tomorrow, depending on what mother nature decides to throw out of the sky at us !
Decision point is the top of Barrington Hill, so if it looks ok we go left at the bottom and do this route:

or if the weather takes a turn for the worse, turn right at the bottom of the hill and do the 'P' version of the dumbell route.

See you tomorrow, keep your fingers crossed for some glorious sunshine !!

Two rides set off, one lead (sorry, suggested) by Susan and the other by myself. Everybody not on Susan's ride, setoff towards Shepreth/Barrington together, but it was quite a large group we decided to split into two and have a faster and slightly not so fast group. The faster group were going to head off somewhere towards Safron Walden with my group doing the longer route above. After a quick meetup at the top of Barrington Hill the two groups went our seperate ways and we played an exciting game of trying to dodge the mega shower that was coming ever closer. Maybe due to the impending soaking, the pace picked up and we wizzed through Caxton, Gransden and down Croydon hill, before Chris & Nick decided to up the pace even more for a blast into Ashwell. Well done to Roy for his canny positioning for the sprint sign. Just about made it back to the Tuns before the heavens opened !!
Excellent ride again and another zippy Sat morning ride - 41 @ 16.5 ! Also met the slightly faster group who after some navigational difficulties did a similar routre to ourselves but just a bit quicker (45 @17.5 avg).
Thanks all for a great morning,
Cheers
