Torch Holder Required!!

Folks,

The Ashwell village sports committe are holding the annual village sports day on 8th July. They are also planning to have an olympic themed day with a torch relay and tie in with various village sports groups.

They are looking for a CCA rider to ride in with the torch (not, thankfully a real one)

Is there anyone, maybe a village member who is going anyway to the sports day, who could volunteer this for us. Its just a bit of fun really.

    Hi Tim,

    The Adams family will competing in the village sports day as per every year, and we do dwell in the village, so I'd be more than happy to this. Though I do feel it ought to be Geoff or maybe one of the older kids.

    Thanks Phil, not sure that Geoff is around and im away but yes it would be nice if one of the kids could do it. indeed theres no reason why it couldnt be a little peleton.

    Thanks Phil...Tim is correct....sadly I shall be in Durham....there are 4 U16's in Letchworth and they could come over with you perhaps...a group would be good...Fiona also.....please go for it....would be good for CCA to be seen as an integral part of the village activities...help to stifle those who have complained about the activities at Smallgains.
