CC Ashwell, Northern Chapter here. Rolled up for the stiff hill climb TT on the other side of the Rake this evening. All just like our Wednesday evening TTs but at 12% average. And with free bars of chocolate for every rider and wine. Goes right to yer head after giving it welly!

Like clockwork: two thirds down the field, 14th.

    Oh aye phil. Worth it for the confused looks from other clubs. I tell them Ashwell's a tiny hamlet miles away over the moors. Perhaps not too untrue if you hear what Geoff's building Durham way - Ashwell Part Two.

    BTW - David J - my membership cheque is in the post. I don't want to wear the colours illegitimately. Take note everyone and pay your dues.
