CC Ashwell organised track meeting in Biggleswade. The event this year includes counting events for the season long Endurance Grass Track League and the Sprint Grass Track League. Please note that this year we intend to start at 1.00 p.m. Programmes will be available on the day

The venue is Fairfield Sports Ground, which is in Fairfield, Biggleswade and the post code SG17 0AA. From both North and South take the Biggleswade North exit from the A1, turn East toward Biggleswade, cross the Sainsburys roundabout. You will then cross the river Ivel on the mecanno bridge. 50m after the bridge turn left into Sun Street and in 20m turn left into Fairfield. The track is at the end of the tarmac road on the left

Really enjoyed our first grass track outing. Took over 100 photos today (well nearly 170 but have edited down) Will take to long to upload so if anyone wants copies please drop email and I can send out copies direct. jac.field@virgin.net

Wonderful to see so many of our club there racing...welcome to see our newest members Jackie and sons Noah and Felix racing and Adam Lightfoot, Sophie Lewis' younger sister Phoebe mixing it at her first race and so many young riders following in the steps of our strong U 16 team riding with the seniors and taking many events, especially Andrew Leveton leading the short distance nationals and Cameron and Theo in the longer endurance events...good showing by Bryn just recovering from pneumonia and Jon getting stronger with each event....looking good for Junior team nationals next season.
Our U 16's are racing Nationals tomorrow at Scarborough so wish them well everyone.

A wonderful bonus to see Robbie and Daniel with Jackie stepping into this type of racing as senior club members

Can I remind everyone to please try their hardest to race at Mildenhall on August Bank Holiday weekend..Max's own fabulous series with Mildenhall his first claim club.

This should have the largest turnout of any such event in the country and is so much more than just grass track...Why not organise a long club ride out on the Saturday and Sunday rides to watch the racing and see what a fantastic event it is. Rhere is plenty to see and do there, get refreshments and buy from a magnificent range of stands and stalls holding cycling gear.

Finally PLEASE remember OUR CCA event on 12th September on OUR track off Smallgains when we are hosting the National Short Track FINAL race of the grass track season.
Marquee,BBQ and lots of racing youth,junior and Senior so please race, HELP or come along to cheer on and see what a fantastic facility our club has.
