Club Committee ( Re ) Election at AGM

The committee is due for re election at the AGM
All the current committee are re standing
If you wish to stand for a post you need to inform Tim Duckett 7 days before
No nominations will be taken on the night
To date no one else has come forward
In which case the committee will be re elected en mass and unopposed
( at least it makes it quick ! )

Tim, Geoff, Thank you for this nomination. The role of Sportive Advocate is one I would be happy to fulfill. I am observing a great enthusiasm for these events in the club and a healthy organic proliferation of ideas and planning on The Forum. I see the role as being simply to manage the information a little and to encourage those interested to participate rather than make the whole process very formal.

I do not see the role as necessarily needing to be a member of the committee. I will take guidance on that from the commitee.

Thanks for volunteering to pick up the sportive initiative for the club
I agree all the club roles are really about supporting people and giving relevant info for them to decide
Not sure from this if a committee role is what you want
Hence can you discuss with a club offical ,
Suggest Tim D / Bob S or myself how you want to proceed
need to sort out before Friday if want to be part of AGM
but can be done afterwards
( constitution allows for other roles appointed by the committee )
if really just want to help , but not be on committee, that is fine too
