Grass Track Meetings - 2009
Grass Track Race Meets During 2009
As part of the upcoming season CC Ashwell Youth Section are promoting those events that we shall be attending as a Club. This means that we shall be using the trailer to attend these meetings and club coaches/representatives will be on hand.
For those of you new to racing please note the following points: -
A Race Licence is not normally required as a day race licence can be obtained on the day or requested at the time of entry. We will confirm this with the event organisers closer to the relevant date. For those of you wishing to obtain a full licence you will need to be British Cycling Silver members and complete the relevant forms from the website.
For entry prior to the day of the event you will normally need to complete a British Cycling entry form. This template can be found on the BC Website.
All bikes to be raced in Youth categories are subject to maximum gear rules. At present all bikes are set to the riders gear allowance but we can change gears if people are not riding a bike specific to their age group.
The Mildenhall event is a three meet where camping facilities are provided.
If you have any further questions or require any further information, please contact Richard or Geoff. (contact e-mails are on the website www.ccashwell.com)

The short answer is, no not at this time. However I understand that the programme will be published soon and I'll let you know. This event is promoted by Max pendleton and we'll be hoping to see him fairly regularly at the Thursday night sessions. So we dshould be able to sort the detail out with him on these evenings.
Richard
All other events will be supported by the club.
