Another 70-80m ride this Saturday. Weather looks good. If we're taking the average speed down a tad...
the fixed might be out. What do you reckon?

Route? As a default unless there's a better suggestion :
Barley, Chisell, Duxford, Haslingfield, Everton, Langford. Hilly front half with many turn offs.

  • Would quite like to go over to the fixed now as even if it is dry there is an increasing amount of stuff on the roads. We do need to be a bit disciplined with the speed though and take quite a bit off, not really feeling like 18's on the fixed !
  • Good call. Fixed it is for me then.
  • theres something to be said for not easing up too much and losing all that hard earned fitness...especially whilst the weathers half decent :-)
  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY Strappy !
  • Should be there........with a selection of gears suitable for the terrain
  • Will be there, may be a couple of mins late, but no more.
  • Good call Andre. I'll put a 90" gear on.
  • A relaxed morning of riding with the fixed wheelers. Reminded me of LEJOG. Oh happy days...
