Black Pig 9.30 Sunday 14 Oct Ride
Had to take the helm again as Pugwash away on a seamanship course on the Humber estuary this weekend, lets hope the knowledge obtained from the larger northern quantities of beer, fish, chips & pies will pay dividends next weekend.
8 crew this week, all pulling in rotation and complete harmony in the warm autumn sunshine, good to see that able stoker Andre back with us after preparing all summer on his solo vessel, what sacrifices he has made for our benefit - a worthy crewmember.
Back in the home port just after 12.30 with 47 miles @ just under 17mph, more of the same next week, hope the weather is too.
