Welcome to the forum
Sunday 28th Oct 09:00 club run
..will be the usual 35-40 ish miles at 16 mph ish. forecast looks a bit damp at this stage but will hopefully improve.
will post the route tomorrow.
just a gentle reminder that this is a club run, steady pace and noone gets left behind (not even me hopefully)
if you want something faster / longer there is an inclusive medium/fast ride that leaves at the same time.
and dont forget the clocks change, and extra hour in bed!

So for anyone on any of the Sunday rides you can either join the crowds or avoid altogether.
Not that I lasted beyond the Sandon hill.
Having not ridden today, snowy Saturday, can I confirm a steady 16mph for 2.5hrs?
PS The 09:30 ride says, "Got all the charts in order and route planned, ...steady 45/50 miles at an early autumn pace, around 17 mph, leave at 9.30 return for coffee at the Tuns around 12.30. "
Also - clocks go back 1hr tonight.
but just to reinforce yes this is a steady ride, with light rain showers forecast we'll stick to roads we know and do a two bridges ride, out to potton then everton, home via old warden then langford. it will end up about 35 miles which is fine on a wet and cold autumn morning, and i would guess the average speed will end up somewhere around 16 mph give or take a bit. as per a previous post the three tunns will always welcome you for coffee or a drink/snack after a ride.
ride starts at 09:00 gmt (not bst...)
Ergo the need for clarification as I don't want to mess a ride about nor do I wish to waste time in the cold before the next club ride.
Tchuss.
