France Club Day Trip 21st June - sign up now!
The annual day trip to france will be on Sunday 21st June
( Father's Day ! )
We will set off at 06.00 and be back about 8 - 9pm
2 cars from Ashwell are planned going through the eurotunnel
9 places for people and bikes
Tunnel + fuel costs approx £35 and about £25 for Lunch
( varies according to how many go - split the costs )
The tunnel is getting booked up for this day
We therefore need to know how many wish to go
will book more cars if numbers require this
Last year about 12 went
Route has yet to be agreed , but normally about 60 -70 miles with lunch half way
All done at Club run speeds and good fun
Please let Richard Maynard / Geoff Godschalk or myself know this week to guarantee a place
£10 non refundable deposit will be needed

Everyone else, there are still a number of places available on this trip. I rode a new route from Dunkirk through Ypres, Popperinge and Cassel. 72 miles of flat fast riding, with some picturesque lunch stops. We can change the length between 50 and 75 miles depending on ability, mine being the lowest denominator!
Stevie and I are interested please. I can bring some money on Sunday.
Bergues is well worth stopping in for coffee on the way out.
