Happy New year !

Thought that we could start off the year as we mean to go on, with a Saturday ride classic.

Emma's new kmc chain (that she has done about 200 miles on) snapped so we tried to do a get home fix with a multi- tool. Broke one link and then the chain tool on the multi tool snapped so we were left on the side of the road with a useless bike !!

So, we walked/half pushed/free wheeled downhill about 2 miles to the cricket ground in Sandon where Chris came and rescued Emma and I cycled home via Wallington.

Hope the you all enjoyed the first sprint of the new year to slip end? Who baged it (my money is on TomD or James)

Fortunately no broken chains on the slower ride this morning. A smaller group of 7 followed the two bridges route totalling 35 miles at a tad over 14mph. A lovely day for a ride.
