  • if it is half way decent I'm doing a club run before I return to Durham......you'll be o.k. tomorrow Tim.
  • Geoff. I'll be doing an easy flat 40m if weather ok
  • I should be there to guy's

    Strappy.
  • Gonna go 9,30
  • Really enjoyed the cca annual dinner and prize giving. Won,t be riding today as originally intended due to girls coming down with a sick bug through the night resulting in too little sleep.
  • is it me, or did we ride with the wind behind us for about ten minutes and then spend 3 hours cycling back into it? nice ride this morning, glad the sun's finally peeking out and the snow's gone.

reset my comp before really looking at it, so i'm going to say about 140 miles at 21.2 mph? that sound about right?
  • close Will.......It was good to ride with the club again even with Peter suggesting that my ego was signing cheques that my body couldn't cash in :-) best summary of my pitiful state I've heard. Enjoyed that one Peter. Am back in Durham on the farm...several degrees colder..still with snow and water not thawed yet...all good fun and despite the way it sounds am loving every moment..... I'll be back in March to sort the grass track before the season starts..see you all for some rides then when I hope to be fitter.
  • geoff

Thanks for the route the first 20 was easy but the other 40 odd was nasty, my legs would not work the last ten from ashwell to clifton with my head down giving all i had 10 MPH in to the gail force wind .

So all in all a cracking ride finished on 60 dare not look at the avg mph my wrist is still sore hope it gets better soon see you all next week.

    strappy.
  • I think an Ashwell ride came past me whilst I was trying to fix my puncture in Hinxworth.

I really do give up with C02 inflators. All I get is a frozen hand and about 10 psi to ride home on!
  • Ladies and Gentleman, I give you MC - the man with the "long traditional style pump".
