Probably get the wind out of the way first, down to Henlow and onto Lilley, then back with the breeze through st pauls walden etc so hexton hill, and a few other rolly bits.
will - you could always add on a bit from that route if you wanted to make it longer, go round stevenage say but the club run will stick to the above route which is 40 miles
about 15 riders out this morning, 44 miles at close to 16 mph. we found a large lake between higham gobion and hexton which strappy bravely led us through. 1 puncture. nice head wind home from codicote. the youth section and a few others carried on for a couple of laps of the chain gang circuit after, fresh from their race against sean yates yesterday at hillingdon. well done lads.
hope you got back ok bryn and phil, guessing you turned left in whitwell and went home via st pauls walden?
Thanks for the route that wind was colder than i expected as were my feet after going through that lake.
Picked up the pace a bit with wind helping us finished on 58 miles so happy with that mid winter.
