We've received a couple of cold call emails from local sports masseurs recently. So this isnt a recommendation. but just passing on their adverts in case anyone is interested.

We Just wanted to let the members of Ashwell Cycling Club know that we are now offering Sports Massage at our studio in the centre of Hitchin.
1 hour or ½ hour sessions can be booked with our highly qualified therapist, Nicky, on Thursday afternoons 12.30-2.00, Saturday afternoons 3.00-6.00 and Tuesdays 10.00-2.00.

I am a qualified Sport Therapist, and have worked closely with in the sporting sector for 5 years, treating a wide range of sporting injuries. I currently work for Evolution Health & Fitness, who provide mobile Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy throughout Hertfordshire and North London.
With many important races approaching, many cyclists will be increasing the intensity of their training, which could result in injuries or the onset of pain during specific body movements. Many people believe resting the injury will resolve the problem; however, without the correct diagnosis and treatment injuries will never full heal. It is vital to obtain the right treatment and rehabilitation to help restore full functional fitness after injury and re-commence with training. As a Sports Therapist at Evolution Health & Fitness I provide a professional and dedicated mobile injury clinic for sports people and the general public. I provide:
- Full injury diagnosis and treatment in the 1st session
- Research based manual therapy techniques
- Individual rehabilitation programmes to re-develop pain free
physical function after injury.
