CCA Library of Cycling Books
Thanks to a generous donation, CCA now has a collection of cycling books available to all members. Some are quite old and probably out of print, others are very current. Theres some good training and racing manuals that might be of interest to the youth riders (as if they arnt fast enough already...). Unfortunately there are some about that Texan chap who has won the Tour de France as many times as I have, however if you can keep a straight face they are still an interesting read.
As we dont have a club house, we cant really leave these books anywhere for people to just borrow. So for now you will have to contact me on stef@ccashwell.com if you would like to borrow one and I will get it to you somehow. I will bring all the books to club nights every month, when I am able to - unfortunately I cant make the next one. The CCA library will be a very liberal and free-spirited affair - you can borrow books for as long as you want, and there will be no fines. There will be no requirement for silence in the library, you can shout and scream if you want. Although in the unlikely event two people want the same book at the same time, youth riders will have preference. And any librarian jokes at my expense will not be tolerated.
