Wiggle Huntingdon Sportive

edited March 2013 in Sportives
Me and my Dad completed the 40 mile route round Huntingdon and Grafam way, It was a very tough ride as the weather conditions were very unpleasent. With crosswinds and heavy rain, they had to cancel the longer ride which was a 80 mile trip. Eventhough of the weather, many cyclists turned up to race. The course goes through Brampton, Grafam, Perry, Risley and the last ten 10 miles are the same on the way out. The event was very well orginiased, which was helpful! I would suggest this sportive as it's a great ride and it's free! Well done to some of the Ashwell youths who raced at Hog Hill, hope it went well!

  • Hi, I have just got back from there too, it was a very interesting ride, I was gutted that the epic was cancelled although the guys I did it with were more than happy, given the conditions.... I then had a 45 mile ride home too, that was interesting to say the least into the 20 + mph head winds..........glad that ride is over !!!!
