    A dozen or so out today. Headed south and split at Benington with Jane, Jon S and I opting for a shorter route which was the reverse of the 8am ride yesterday. For the record the sun came out and for a few minutes it was spring. Caught up with Daniel and Theo on the home leg. Good to see everyone and thanks for the company.

    A shade under 39 miles at 16.2 average. Not bad for a lumpy route and winter gear.

    fast 4 left me just outside hitchin (did a spot of falling off the back) so i crawled back on my own, 60 miles in the low 18's... thanks to julian, tom and foxy (luton cc) for waiting up for me on a couple of hills towards the end.

    Don't worry Will, I'm sure you'll be faster on the unicycle (less weight)

    And if that gets too easy, you can carry the whippet :)
